The Microphone and sounds issues are one of the common problems on windows 10, Today i will show you how to fix the "Microphone not working" on windows 10 from BIOS settings.

First, you need to apply these 4 steps before moving to explain the main method:

1. Make sure that your sound driver is installed.
2. Give apps access to the microphone.
3. Enable your microphone.
4. Try the Troubleshoot.

Let's explain the previous steps:

1- Make sure that your sound driver is installed.

By going to "Manage" computer, then device manager, and from the list, if you didn't found any Exclamation mark, on the side, that means your microphone driver is installed fine... But, If you find the exclamation, that means that you have trouble with your sound driver.

2- Make sure apps have access to the microphone.

By opening the "Sound Settings", then microphone privacy settings, and switch the option On... You can select which apps can get access to your microphone / Or disable what you want.

3- Enable your microphone.

By coming back to the "Sound Settings", clicking on Sound Control Panel, and from the "Recording" tab Enable the mic.

4- Try the Troubleshoot.

Open the Troubleshoot sound problem, and complete the instructions that will show up to you... When you finish Restart your computer.

If the previous steps did not solve the microphone problem, you can try to activate your microphone from the "BIOS configuration".
